IEM is a leading manufacturer and supplier of bulk handling material equipment in Surrey, BC, Canada.  Our range of bulk handling material equipment is installed at all major mining and quarrying operations throughout the world. Our products and solutions are highly acclaimed for their quality and performance.

IEM manufactures a complete range of bulk handling material equipment for mineral extraction and industrial applications.  Our product range includes heavy-duty feeders, conveyors and related accessories.  We even manufacture industrial-grade debarkers that can rapidly remove bark from logs.

IEM makes super-efficient apron feeders and belt feeders that allow efficient feeding of abrasive bulk materials such as sand, gold and ores. Our apron feeders and belt feeders are designed to allow volumetric control, which helps in restricting the feed rate to a desired level.

Built for heavy-duty applications under the toughest conditions, our apron feeders have a robust support frame and dust-resistant roller bearings for durability.  Our belt feeders are also designed for heavy-duty work, and they have a sturdy frame that can easily absorb the impact of heavy, lumpy and sharp materials.  IEM’s apron feeders and belt feeders can easily be integrated with a hopper or bin while facilitating dumping by a truck or a dragline.

IEM is also a leading manufacturer of conveyor systems, specializing in fabrication of heavy-duty belt conveyors that are capable of transporting heavy bulk material across very long distances.  We make vulcanized belts of textured and non-textured varieties, which have extremely high load-bearing capacity and are resistant to the effects of temperature variations.

IEM also manufactures state-of-the-art equipment for setting up a fully functional conveyor system.  We make heavy-duty pulleys, take-ups and counterweights that are designed to keep the material flowing from mine to surface while keeping the cost of operations relatively low.  We even build efficient scrapers and pulley cleaners, which prevents spillover of bulk material onto the moving parts of the conveyor system, thereby allowing for jam-free operation.  We understand that mining and industrial operations involve a high degree of risk for workers, so our conveyor systems are specially designed to reduce pinching hazards.  Our conveyor systems are fitted with special idlers that reduce pinching hazards while keeping the edges of the belt raised to prevent side spillage of bulk materials.

At IEM, we also manufacture conveyor systems and debarkers for high-capacity sawmills. IEM’s chain conveyor systems are powered by enclosed chains, which allow smooth running of the conveyor by preventing debris from lodging between chain links. Our chains permit lateral and vertical flexibility to enable easy conveying of bulk material through twists, turns and inclines.  Driven by sprocket-based drives, our chain conveyors can deliver high performance even over long periods of use.

IEM is a globally recognized manufacturer of heavy-duty debarkers, specializing in making rotary debarkers and wood processors. Our debarkers have the most advanced residual fiber recovery system and can debark up to 500 meters/tons of wood in an hour. IEM’s debarkers can remove bark from stems up to 12 meters long and upwards of 30 millimeters in diameter. Capable of effectively cleaning crooked stems/wood, IEM’s debarkers remove bark with minimal loss of white wood.
IEM’s rotary debarkers and processors can even remove bark directly from frozen logs without prior deicing. Our debarkers can process stems of varying shapes and sizes simultaneously, and they are even capable of removing green, stringy bark from tropical wood. IEM’s rotary debarkers and processors are used extensively in sawmills and for cleaning raw stumps for biomass production.

IEM is a knowledge-driven company that believes in addressing the needs of the industry through research-based product development.  Our comprehensive range of bulk handling material equipment reflects our understanding of challenges encountered during real-time industrial operations.  Our strength comes from the collective skill and knowledge of our efficient employees, whose efforts have made IEM manufacturer of choice for heavy-duty material handling equipment.

Our operational endeavors are guided by the understanding that material handling needs vary from application to application. Hence, we offer customized solutions to our customers based on the specific requirements of the application. Our project managers evaluate the details of each order and acquire complete information about the application by consulting with the client.  Our design team spends a considerable amount of time working on each project so that they can come up with a perfect solution for the application.

IEM’s revolutionary bulk material handling equipment comes with the best service in the industry.  Our technicians carry out the installation at the point of operation, and our prompt after-sale service has you covered for all maintenance and repair tasks.

IEM is committed to providing end-to-end service, and while we have the infrastructure to handle very large orders, we are small enough to be able to provide bulk material handling equipment even for small operations.
